Using the Power of Storytelling in Your Work
October 3 @ 10:00 am - October 4 @ 4:00 pm
Date: October 3 & 4, 2020
Time: 10AM to 4PM each day
In this experiential two-day session, explore how you can use storytelling in your work to support better connection, communication, and authenticity. You will learn about the different ways to use storytelling, how to craft and tell a good story, and the different types of stories you can tell. You will also craft and practice your own unique story that you can use in your work.
Research shows that time with horses deepens your access to memory, insight and reflection, and allows you to retain learning longer. Thus conversations or practices that take place in the herd are more powerful than any other.
This weekend will be co-facilitated by spiritual business coach Sonya Bibilos and Flag Ranch Chief Steward Kimberly Carlisle. Sonya has coached hundreds of individuals to create conscious business and success with soul. Her business clients from North America and Europe have included CEOs, entrepreneurs, executives at all levels, business coaches, successful artists, medical professionals, and therapists (awakenatwork.com). In addition to co-founding Flag Ranch (with Flag, the horse) and her work on behalf of animals and the planet, Kimberly crafts anything with words and images, from print to film to voice, and leads the creative team at Sutter Health CPMC.
